Cuckoo CRP-LHTR0609FW six-cup Twin Pressure cooker in white
Manufacturer image of the exact white US model. Supplied cooking surface is nonstick-coated. Cuckoo
A useful fit for

One-to-six supplied cups of ordinary pressure white rice, or smaller multigrain, brown and non-pressure batches.

The main tradeoff

The cooking surface is nonstick-coated and cannot use the full-steel CRI-HAC0610N replacement; GABA three-hour and Turbo methods cannot use preset completion.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can six supplied dry cups of ordinary white rice use pressure?

Yes. The exact US chart permits one to six cups for the ordinary pressure-white method; the supplied cup is 180 milliliters.

Can five dry cups use the non-pressure white method?

No. The non-pressure white limit is four supplied cups, even though ordinary pressure white rice reaches six.

Explore this need in the finder →
Can the three-hour GABA method also use the finish timer?

No. The US instructions exclude three-hour GABA from preset cooking; zero-hour GABA is a separate method.

Explore this need in the finder →
Can this exact cooker use the documented three-hour GABA Brown setting without requiring a finish timer?

Yes. Its exact U.S. manual documents a three-hour GABA setting. On this setting the manual says the finish preset is unavailable, so this is not a claim that three-hour GABA can be scheduled.

Can the three-hour GABA setting and finish timing both be essential?

No. The model-specific manual distinguishes zero-hour GABA (preset permitted) from three-hour germination (preset unavailable).

Six cups for ordinary white rice, with smaller limits elsewhere

The Cuckoo CRP-LHTR0609FW is a useful choice when you want both pressure-cooked rice and a non-pressure option in a moderately sized family cooker. Its induction heating, removable inner lid and selectable pressure modes give it a broad cooking routine. The most important buying detail is that the six-cup headline applies to particular white-rice programs. Several other menus stop at four supplied cups.

This review covers the US CRP-LHTR0609F family, with white SKU CRP-LHTR0609FW. It is different from the CRP-LHTAR0609F supplied with a full stainless steel cooking surface. The extra letter matters for both the included pot and replacement compatibility.

Measure dry rice with the supplied cup

The instructions define a rice cup as 180 milliliters. That is the dry measuring cup supplied with the cooker, not a standard eight-fluid-ounce kitchen cup and not a cup of finished rice. Measure the dry rice first, then use the appropriate water line for that menu in the inner pot.

The exact US capacity chart allows one to six supplied cups for the ordinary, savory, sticky and high-heat sticky white-rice programs. Multigrain programs, Turbo white, Turbo multigrain, GABA rice, non-pressure white, vegetable rice and scorched rice have a one-to-four-cup range. This makes the cooker a different fit for a household making five cups of plain white rice than for one making five cups of brown rice.

Porridge has its own small quantities and water scales: thick porridge uses one to one-and-a-half dry cups, while thin porridge uses half a cup to one cup. Do not use the six-cup white-rice line for porridge. The advertised twelve cups cooked is a nominal yield description, not permission to load twelve dry cups or a serving guarantee for every grain.

Choose pressure before choosing the menu

The handle selects high pressure or non-pressure before cooking. The available menus change with that position. Ordinary white, multigrain, GABA and scorched-rice selections belong to the pressure side; non-pressure white, vegetable rice, porridge and the relevant steaming or prepared-food menus belong to the other side.

That arrangement is valuable if you want to compare a more cohesive rice texture with a separate-grain non-pressure preparation. It does not mean every menu can operate at either pressure setting. It also does not turn a recipe that permits mid-cycle opening into a pressure recipe with the same permission.

The Open Cooking function is specifically for a non-pressure cooking process. Request it with the appropriate control and wait for the locking device to release and the add-ingredients indication. The manual gives a five-to-sixty-second release interval and says to close the lid within three minutes. Heating pauses while the lid is open. Follow that sequence rather than lifting the lid whenever a recipe looks ready for another ingredient.

The pot has a coating on the cooking surface

The included Xwall Black Shine pot has a stainless steel exterior and a nonstick cooking surface. It is not an uncoated stainless steel bowl. Cuckoo explicitly says CRP-LHTR0609F is not compatible with the full stainless steel replacement pot CRI-HAC0610N.

That warning matters if you are considering a coated cooker now with a plan to buy a bare steel pot later. Choose the correct complete cooker from the start. LHTAR0609F includes the full steel pot and lists compatibility with a specific separately sold coated pot; the compatibility does not work in both directions.

Use gentle cleaning tools and follow the coating-care instructions. A removable lid and steam-cleaning program help with maintenance, but the pot, lid surfaces, gasket area and steam path still need attention. A steam plate is supplied for the prescribed steaming methods. Its presence alone does not establish permission to cook a full rice batch underneath arbitrary food at the same time.

Plan which meals can use the timer

The timer sets a completion time on the cooker's clock, with ten-minute adjustments. Check the AM/PM setting and current time before relying on it. The manual limits the preset window to thirteen hours, with different minimum lead times by menu.

Turbo white rice, Turbo multigrain and the three-hour GABA preparation do not support preset cooking. The zero-hour GABA preparation has a separate timer entry. Choose the brown-rice method you want before assuming that a GABA label and a timer can be combined. A short first-cycle or Turbo claim also does not describe the timing of every quantity and grain.

Automatic Keep Warm and reheating are available, but they are not blanket approval to hold every recipe the same way. Follow the exact menu guidance, particularly for porridge, added ingredients and non-rice foods. The reheating timer is also a different function from scheduling a fresh rice cook.

Who should choose this capacity?

Choose LHTR0609FW if your regular white-rice batches fit one to six supplied cups and your multigrain, brown or non-pressure batches fit four cups or less. It offers pressure and non-pressure cooking without requiring the larger ten-cup body. Leave space for the lid, steam outlet and cleaning access rather than fitting it tightly beneath cabinetry.

Compare the LHTR1009FW for up to eight cups of ordinary multigrain or six cups of GABA and non-pressure white rice. Compare LHTAR0609F when an included uncoated steel cooking surface is essential. For a simpler non-pressure routine and smaller portions, the CR-0375F is a different category of choice. Decide from the grain, batch and pot you will actually use.
