Rice cookers with a relative-finish timer
Choose a relative-finish timer when you want food ready after a selected interval rather than at a clock-of-day time. The Aroma ARC-7604 offers an hours-based White Rice window; the Cuckoo CR-0351FR uses a minute-based interval and documents a smaller white-rice batch.
- An interval until food is ready
Comparison updated 29 October 2026.
Set an interval until the meal is ready
This timer style differs from a clock-of-day appointment and from a delay that ends before cooking starts. The ARC-7604's White Rice interval includes cooking and ends with food ready; the CR-0351FR sets a relative finish interval in minutes. Choose the unit and schedule logic that fits your routine.
Compare the specific menu and amount
The ARC-7604 documents one to four supplied cups for White Rice and a one-to-15-hour window. The CR-0351FR documents one-half to three White supplied cups and a 60-to-780-minute interval in one-minute steps. These are manual-supported limits for their named White plans, not universal limits for every menu on either cooker.
Do not transfer timer support to another recipe
The CR-0351FR record does not establish finish-preset use for its GABA Brown plan even though the White and Turbo White plans are timed. Select the grain and method too when the schedule must work for a particular meal.
Questions that change the choice
Is a relative-finish setting the same as a clock time?
No. It specifies an interval until food should be ready. It does not name a time of day, and the exact supported interval can differ by menu.
Can I use a relative timer on any program?
No. The ARC-7604 gives different windows for its menus, and the CR-0351FR does not establish a preset for its GABA Brown method. Check the selected plan in the exact manual.
