Rice cookers with timing for a cooking method

If timing must work on the selected cooking method itself, require method-level support rather than a timer feature alone. These matches have at least one documented timed recipe, but the White, Quick, GABA, and other menu rules still differ by model.

  • At least one documented method-specific finish timer

Why choose each option?

Tiger JKT-D10U

Choose it when: The JKT-D10U shows why recipe-level timing matters: its manual marks Plain and Premium White as eligible while excluding Quick and Express-Limited Cups.

The limit: A timer on the panel is not a promise for every mode. The GABA Brown plan also needs a long lead and its fixed soak duration is not separately identified in this record.

Compare other models meeting these requirements

Require support for the actual method

This answer requires at least one documented finish-timed cooking method. It does not mean that every grain, quick cycle, or special recipe can use the timer. The JKT-D10U's Plain and Premium White plans are eligible, but its Quick and Express-Limited plans are not; the CR-0351FR lists timing for both White and Turbo White.

A timed recipe can still have important conditions

The JKT-D10U's GABA Brown method has a documented timer lead of at least four hours and forty-five minutes, but the exact soak duration is not separately identified. The CR-0351FR's Brown GABA plan does not establish finish-preset support. Do not carry timer eligibility from one program to another.

Narrow by grain and menu

If you mainly make White rice, use the separate White-with-method-timer answer. If you depend on Quick or Turbo, use the exact grain and Quick condition as well; the dedicated White Quick timing answer distinguishes timed quick methods from an ordinary timer label.

Questions that change the choice

Does this answer mean every program on a matching cooker is timed?

No. It means at least one supported cooking method is documented with finish timing. The JKT-D10U's Quick and Express-Limited modes are not timed, even though its Plain and Premium White plans are.

What if I only need the timer on one specific grain?

Select that grain and the exact program requirement too. The White method answer and the White Quick answer are narrower because timer rules depend on the cooking plan, not just timer presence.
