A practical answer

Which small cooker fits brown rice, Jasmine or quinoa?

For small brown-rice dinners, start with the minimum

A shopper making half a dry supplied cup of short or medium grain brown rice has several relevant compact choices. The NS-LGC05, NS-LHC05 and NL-BAC05 each document a half-to-two-cup brown range. Their different menus are the next decision, because the brown capacity alone does not separate them.

The LGC05 pairs ordinary and GABA Brown with steel cut oatmeal and a long grain white setting. It is the most natural of these three to examine when breakfast oats and a range of plain rice recur. Its three-cup white maximum still does not allow three dry cups of brown rice.

Jasmine and porridge point toward the LHC05

The LHC05 has named Jasmine white and porridge programs. For someone who buys Jasmine rice regularly and wants that explicit menu route, it answers a different need from the LGC05’s oatmeal program. Its body dimensions are similar, so the control panel is more informative than the apparent size.

Porridge is limited to a smaller half-to-one-cup range. A person who wants a large breakfast batch should check that range before buying. A dedicated program is useful only when the documented amount is useful too.

Quinoa changes the shortlist

The BAC05 provides a quinoa program from half to one and a half supplied cups, as well as steel cut oatmeal. It offers Extended Keep Warm and a detachable cord, but no listed GABA Brown program. For someone whose cupboard is mostly quinoa and oats, those differences may outweigh an interest in extra brown-rice soaking.

The Aroma ARC-914SBD is another practical route when an included steaming tray matters. Its documented white and brown rice minimum is one supplied cup, so it does not answer the same half-cup request. Its eight-cup label is cooked yield, with a four-cup dry maximum.

A concrete choice for a mixed routine

For half-cup brown rice plus steel cut oatmeal, start with the LGC05. For half-cup brown rice plus Jasmine white and porridge, start with the LHC05. For small quinoa plus brown rice, start with the BAC05. For one-cup-and-up rice plus a supplied tray, examine Aroma. These are task-based choices, without a taste ranking or an assumption that the most expensive heating system is necessary.
