Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Will it take a six-supplied-cup White/Sushi batch in one documented method?
Yes. The exact CR-0641F quick-start chart lists White/Sushi at 2–6 supplied cups.
Explore this need in the finder →Will its published 9.5-inch body width fit a 10-inch counter limit?
Yes for body width; leave additional room for lid opening, cord and steam.
Explore this need in the finder →Can it prepare one supplied cup of steel-cut oats on a named menu?
Yes. The CR-0641F chart lists Steel-Cut Oats at 1–2 supplied cups.
Explore this need in the finder →The CUCKOO CR-0641F is a six-cup uncooked Micom cooker for people who want several grain menus and a real included steam plate rather than a single Cook switch. Its short model-specific Quick Start Guide is unusually useful: it gives separate batch ranges for white rice, brown/GABA, quinoa, oats and porridge. That matters more than its headline twelve-cup cooked yield, because the permitted load changes with the selected mode. The U.S. product page lists 11 menu options, a detachable inner lid, automatic cleaning and a nonstick pot. The model is best judged by those choices, not by an assumption that every program handles six cups.
Choose a mode by its own amount
The CR-0641F Quick Start Guide lists White/Sushi at two to six supplied measuring cups, Quick at two to four, Brown/GABA at two to four, Quinoa at two to four, Stored Rice at two to four, Steel-Cut Oats at one to two, and Porridge at one to one-and-a-half. It also gives approximate cook times: about 37–49 minutes for White/Sushi, 30–36 for Quick, 72–86 for Brown/GABA, 56–59 for Quinoa, 30–36 for Stored Rice, 40–60 for oats, and 58–72 for porridge. Those are the manufacturer’s guide values, not independently timed results. The guide uses its supplied measure but does not state that measure’s milliliter volume; don't convert the cup ranges to a different measuring cup.
The six-cup headline is therefore not a universal load limit for every recipe. A household that mostly cooks plain rice has a wider documented range than one choosing the separate oatmeal or porridge menus. If you need to cook less than the printed minimum, the guide does not confirm that smaller batch. For Stored Rice, the separate instructions say to cook, stir, transfer to a microwave-safe container, refrigerate or freeze, then reheat in a microwave. Its note caps that mode at four cups of dried rice; this is a Stored Rice limit, not a four-cup cap on every white-rice cycle.
A broad control panel, with a few real unknowns
The product listing names White/Sushi, Brown/GABA, Porridge, Quick, Quinoa, Steel-Cut Oats, Stored Rice, Steam, Auto Clean, My Mode and Warm/Reheat. The image shows the corresponding panel labels. My Mode and the named grain programs are useful distinctions from the CR-1095’s simple Cook/Warm routine; the CR-0641F is the better fit when menu choice matters. But neither a Timer label on the panel nor the phrase Warm/Reheat proves which specific cooking programs can be reserved, how far ahead they can be set, or whether every grain can remain warm. The short guide does not answer those questions. It also does not establish a pressure-cooking level: its Auto-Clean steps use a button labeled PRESSURE COOK, which is not evidence that the rice program itself is pressurized. If timer behavior, a precise GABA soak duration, or pressure is essential, don't treat it as confirmed from this page and guide alone.
The steam and cleaning routines
The U.S. page lists a Steam mode and an included steam plate. The Quick Start Guide sends the cook to a recipe book for steam quantities rather than stating a tray clearance, food-height allowance or whether steaming can run over a rice cycle. That makes it a credible option for someone who wants the included accessory and named mode, but not for a buyer who needs a verified tray-height limit or simultaneous rice-and-steam method. The guide's cleaning directions are more concrete: unplug and let the cooker cool, wash the pot and inner lid gently with warm soapy water, wipe the body, and remove, separate, wash and reassemble the steam cap. Auto-Clean uses water to the second line and the control sequence shown in the guide. Those are practical routine details, not a promise that parts are dishwasher safe.
Who should choose it?
Choose the CR-0641F if your normal batches fit its specific ranges and you will actually use its Quinoa, oats, porridge, Stored Rice or Steam options. The 12.5-by-9.5-by-8.5-inch listing and 11-pound published weight make it a counter appliance, not a tiny travel cooker; leave room for lid access and escaping steam. Its nonstick pot, removable lid, excess-water tray and listed one-year limited warranty are useful ownership details, but the manufacturer page supplies no independent durability evidence. A plain-rice household that wants fewer controls can compare the CR-1095. If you prefer a newer circular display but still want a six-cup nominal capacity, compare the CR-0661F; its listed programs are similar, though its public specifications do not give the same per-mode quantity chart. For a larger nominal eight-cup appliance with a listed preset timer, consider the CR-0810F, while recognizing that its per-program quantity limits are not published in the same detail. The CR-0641F is the more defensible pick when its documented batch table—not just its menu count—matches the way you cook.
