Zero-hour GABA Brown rice cookers
For a documented zero-hour GABA setting, the Cuckoo CRP-MHTR0309F is the most flexible featured route if you want a high-pressure method with finish timing and make 0.5–2.5 supplied cups. The CR-1020F is a larger 2–6-cup non-pressure alternative, but its zero-hour method also has timer support only on that setting.
- A manufacturer-documented zero-hour GABA setting
- The selected method's own batch range
- Timing only if supported for that zero-hour mode

Choose the zero-hour route by batch and schedule
For zero-hour GABA, choose the CRP-MHTR0309F when you need its high-pressure method and a finish preset in the same 0.5–2.5-cup Brown plan; choose the CR-1020F for a larger 2–6-cup range when its non-pressure method fits. These are different exact-model ranges, not a general size rule.
Do not generalize this timer result
The CRP-MHTR0309F also lists a three-hour GABA method, but that setting does not accept a finish preset. The zero-hour timing approval is specific to the zero-hour recipe. If you want another duration, check its own answer and manual rather than carrying the timer permission across settings.
Questions that change the choice
Does zero-hour mean no cooking or preparation time?
No. It names the maker's GABA setting; this page does not interpret it as zero total cooking time or a nutrition claim.
Can I schedule the three-hour setting using the zero-hour result?
No. On the CRP-MHTR0309F the three-hour method is not preset eligible; the schedule permission applies only to the documented zero-hour route.
