High-pressure White rice plans and their supplied-cup limits
For White rice cooked under high pressure, the Cuckoo CRP-MHTR0309F documents a 0.5–3 supplied-cup plan with finish timing; the CRP-LHTR1009F covers 1–10 cups with timing, and the CRP-LHTAR0609F covers 1–6 cups. Use the range for the exact White method, not the model’s separate Turbo or Open Cooking route.
- The selected grain is White rice.
- The exact White cooking plan must document high-pressure cooking.
- Keep each plan’s supplied-cup interval and finish-timing rule attached to that method.
Comparison updated 29 October 2026.
Require pressure on the White method itself
A cooker’s pressure capability does not establish that every White setting uses pressure. The selected plan needs its own high-pressure mode and its own amount limits.
The CRP-MHTR0309F’s high-pressure White plan covers 0.5–3 supplied cups with finish timing; the CRP-LHTR1009F covers 1–10 with a preset, and the CRP-LHTAR0609F covers 1–6.
The CRP-MHTR0309F plan allows a half-cup start, while its separate Super Turbo White route stops at two cups and has no preset. The CRP-LHTR1009F’s ordinary pressure White method reaches ten cups, but its Turbo White method is 1–6 without a preset. The LHTAR0609F pressure White plan is a 1–6-cup, timer-eligible route.
Pressure cooking and controlled opening are separate
The LHTR1009F and LHTAR0609F each document a non-pressure White/Open Cooking method apart from their pressure White recipe. If controlled mid-cycle opening is essential, do not try to use it in an active pressure cycle; follow the dedicated White/Open answer instead.
An unresolved plan is not a confirmed capability
The CRP-P1009S manual names Glutinous/White and Turbo White menus, but its exact model-specific pressure mode and amount are unresolved in the reviewed record. Do not infer its pressure or cup limits from another Cuckoo model.
When to choose something else
- Cuckoo CRP-P1009S 10-Cup HP Pressure Rice Cooker: Its exact White/Glutinous plan does not confirm high-pressure mode or a supplied-cup range; this is an evidence gap, not a claim that the cooker cannot pressure-cook.
Questions that change the choice
Does the appliance-level pressure label prove that its White rice setting is high-pressure?
No. Use the exact White method’s pressure mode, not a pressure capability that applies only to another program.
Which example covers eight supplied cups of White rice under high pressure?
The CRP-LHTR1009F’s ordinary pressure White plan covers one to ten supplied cups. Its separate Turbo White plan is smaller and does not support a finish preset.
Can an Open Cooking White cycle also be high-pressure?
The LHTR1009F and LHTAR0609F documents show separate routes: their controlled-open White methods are non-pressure. Never open an active pressure cycle.
