Rice cookers · Choose by your needs

Rice cookers with a documented long-grain white-rice method

For a smaller long-grain batch with a finish preset, the Cuckoo CR-0375F routes long rice through Multi Grain for 0.5–2.5 supplied cups. If you need up to 5.5 cups, the Tiger JAX-T10U documents a Quick long-grain route, but that route has no finish timer. Choose by the actual menu, batch, and schedule rather than the cooker’s headline capacity.

  • The selected plan must explicitly address long-grain white rice; a general White Rice label alone is not enough.
  • Quantities refer to the dry cup and water scale specified for the exact model and plan.
  • This page does not require a timer, but it distinguishes finish timing where the plan records it.

Why choose each option?

Cuckoo CR-0375F

Cuckoo CR-0375F

Choose it when: The exact CR-0375F manual gives a long-rice route through Multi Grain, with its own water scale, a 0.5-to-2.5-cup range, and a finish preset for that plan.

The limit: Its documented long-grain plan tops out at 2.5 supplied cups; do not substitute the larger White Rice capacity for this menu's limit.

Tiger JAX-T10U

Tiger JAX-T10U

Choose it when: The JAX-T10U manual has a separate long-grain Quick plan from one to 5.5 supplied cups, so its long-grain range is larger than the CR-0375F example while remaining tied to a named method.

The limit: The JAX-T10U's long-grain Quick plan does not support finish timing; its clock-based timer on other menus should not be carried over to this one.

Compare other models meeting these requirements

Look for a real long-grain route

Long-grain white rice may be handled by a dedicated or combined menu rather than the model's plain White setting. Compare the operating plan named for the grain and follow that plan's own water scale and batch range; a cooker with a larger general rice capacity does not automatically have that capacity on its long-grain route.

Choose by batch and schedule together

Choose the CR-0375F if its 0.5–2.5-cup Multi Grain route and finish preset fit; choose the JAX-T10U if you need its 1–5.5-cup Quick long-grain range and do not need finish timing on that route. The first plan starts at a half cup and lists finish timing; the second allows a higher dry-cup maximum but has no finish timer on its long-grain menu.

A timer on another menu is not enough

The JAX-T10U has a clock timer for some plans, but its exact long-grain Quick plan is not marked timer-eligible. The CR-0375F long-rice plan does list a finish preset. If setting a scheduled finish is essential, check the selected long-grain plan itself rather than relying on the appliance-wide timer label.

Questions that change the choice

Does a long-grain setting guarantee that the timer works?

No. Timer presence and timer eligibility for a particular method are separate facts. The JAX-T10U's long-grain Quick plan is not timer-eligible even though the model has a timer for other plans; the CR-0375F's long-rice plan lists a finish preset.

Can I use the plain White Rice maximum for long-grain rice?

Not unless the manual assigns that maximum to the selected long-grain method. Use the long-grain plan's range and water scale, which may be narrower or different from the ordinary White plan.
